Costa Rica Family Trip

Join PRUMC families as we work together with Rice and Beans Ministry in the San Jose area of Costa Rica to offer this mission trip experience. Your family will have the opportunity to be part of a vital feeding program in the rural communities surrounding Costa Rica, where nearly 80% live in poverty.  You will also have the opportunity to work with children in after school programs to bring "Vacation Bible School" and "Field Day" experiences to the schools that this ministry supports.  Other activities will include painting, light construction, and  working on the small farm which produces approximately 2,000 pounds of fresh produce per week to distribute to schools and neighbors. You will also have the opportunity to feed the "Peachtree Hens" and collect their daily eggs that help provide the same communities with 13, 500 eggs a month.
