When our van pulled into the Gituamba school yard we were greeted by 500 children!
It was overwhelming and my heart was so full of joy! I put my hands out to greet the
kids and all of them wanted to touch my hands – it was a feeling of instant connection.
I think after being told for so long not to touch another human, those hands felt like a
lifeline for me.
