$2,750 (includes airfare and lodging)
Ed Hamlin and Kyle Jenks will co-lead this meaningful trip as we work alongside Start with One Kenya (SWOK) and locals of the community to make a significant and sustainable difference through clean water efforts. We will participate in hygiene education and water filter distribution initiatives in a local community, as well as participate in minor construction projects and children’s activities in partnership with local churches and schools.
Start with One Kenya provides help for people living in extreme poverty who struggle with an immense lack of resources – including clean water. Providing clean water is an essential part of basic hygiene and improved health, something that is necessary but often difficult to find in remote villages and rural areas in Kenya. Clean Water literally has the power to save lives, giving people direct and immediate access to much needed aid. Start With One knows the power of clean water can drastically change lives. Currently SWOK has impacted 500,000 people's lives through the provision of Clean Water and have made it their mission to ensure everyone has access to this life changing commodity.

Prerequisites
- Valid Passport (expiration date must be past November 2025)
Restrictions
- Adults of all ages and students aged 16+ accompanied by a parent are welcome!
- Priority Registration for active PRUMC members and those members who are new to Global Missions at PRUMC.
- All participants must depart from Atlanta on the same flights. If touring other areas at the end of the trip, you should plan to travel to Nairobi airport with team
- Airline tickets will be purchased for the group, allowing for varied return dates as appropriate. This is to maximize flexibility and travel benefits for the team as a whole.
